Start from an empty squad
An auction career starts with a different question from a normal career: who can you afford to build around? Instead of inheriting a ready-made team, you compete for real players and assemble a squad position by position.
The order of positions and players can vary, so you need to balance the player on offer against the gaps you still need to fill. Spending heavily on one star can leave difficult choices later.
Open auctions or blind bids
In an open auction, you can see bidding develop and decide whether to raise the price, wait or let another manager take the player. A blind auction asks you to judge your offer without seeing rival bids. Both modes reward planning as well as knowing which players fit your team.
You can run a private auction with friends as the beginning of an online football career. Once the squads are built, the rivalry carries into the league.
Play against AI managers
Solo auctions let you compete against three to eight AI managers. Choose from Easy, Medium, Hard and Impossible opponents in an ordinary auction career. Their bidding behaviour changes with the level; tougher opponents make the market more demanding.
Impossible managers receive a larger auction budget, so matching every bid is rarely a plan. Decide which positions deserve your money and when to take value instead of chasing the biggest name.
Turn an auction squad into a league team
After a normal auction, put the squad to work. Set your lineup and tactics and play the season against the other clubs. The best-looking purchase list still has to produce results.

Try fixed auction challenges
Road to Glory includes six auction stages within its 20-challenge campaign. Some ask you to win a league with the squad you bought; others end at the auction and require a specified average rating across the starting XI.
Later stages use Hard or Impossible AI, open or blind bidding and fixed budgets. Each challenge is solo. Failed attempts can be retried, but a successful clear and its stars are final. League challenges allow individual match simulation, not skipping the rest of a season.
